Get Naturally Fuller Lashes with Latisse®

Do you wish your lashes were fuller and more dramatic? At Ohio Plastic Surgery Specialists, we have a solution that could help you grow naturally fuller lashes! Latisse® eyelash enhancer is the first and only FDA-approved cosmetic treatment for increasing the length, thickness, and darkness of eyelashes.

How To Apply Latisse®

The Latisse® solution is applied at night. Your contact lenses and makeup should be removed before application. If you have other nightly skincare regimens, apply those products after applying Latisse® to your lashes. To prevent any contamination, the Latisse® solution is applied with a single-use disposable applicator. Always discard each applicator after one use. Re-using applicators, even just once the next evening, can cause serious problems, such as an eye infection or allergic reaction. Be sure to apply the solution carefully and blot any excess solution, since Latisse® may promote hair growth on other skin areas. To apply, put one drop of the Latisse® solution on a new applicator and apply to the base of the upper eyelid at the lash line. Do not apply to the lower lash line. Move the applicator from the inside of the lash line to the outside. A separate applicator is used for each eye. If contact lenses were removed, they can be put back in 15 minutes after Latisse® treatment.

The Perfect Candidate

Anyone who wants longer, fuller and darker eyelashes may be a candidate for Latisse® treatment. Individuals who have eye infections, broken or irritated skin on their eyelids, or who use products for elevated intraocular pressure should not use the Latisse® treatment. A full medical history is taken by Dr. Bernacki at the time of your consultation.

How Long Does It Take Before You Start Seeing Results?

After two months of nightly use, you may begin to see results. After three or four months, you may be able to apply the Latisse® solution every two days. Be sure to maintain daily maintenance for the first 16 weeks to attain full, dramatic lashes. If you stop using Latisse, your eyelashes will gradually return to their former state.
