She eventually took time away from the field to raise her two children, but even this hiatus couldn’t dim her passion for healthcare.

“I was really happy to get back into actual hands-on patient care,” says Lynn. “I enjoy doing basic nursing that you learn in school and interacting with the patients, forming a relationship with them. I missed that.”
