Liposuction plastic surgery is typically performed when certain areas of the body do not respond to diet and exercise. Liposuction permanently and painlessly removes the areas of fat that are resistant to these efforts. Liposuction results in a smoother, tighter appearance in these trouble spots.
Our plastic surgeon has perfected his Liposuction techniques by performing thousands of procedures for Columbus area patients. Liposuction is performed by inserting a tiny cannula under the skin. Lasers “melt” the fat which is then suctioned (Lipo) away. A tight compression garment is usually worn for several weeks after the procedure.
The most common areas that central Ohio patients request Liposuction for are the stomach, hips and thighs. The buttocks, knees, breast, chin and neck are also frequently requested areas for Lipo.
