Ohio Plastic Surgery Specialists is thrilled to welcome Laura Nieto, our newest team member and skilled Aesthetic Nurse Injector. With over 15 years in the medical field, Laura’s experience and extensive skillset help patients achieve results through a variety of nonsurgical procedures.
Laura began her career in medicine as an Army combat medic before transitioning to nursing, spending many years as a travelling nurse. Having received training from premier institutions like the Cleveland Clinic, Yale New Haven, Johns Hopkins, and Sibley Memorial, she has experience in both cosmetic surgery and reconstructive procedures. Her advanced expertise and passion for patient-centered care make her an invaluable addition to our practice.
“I think my favorite part about this job is having a patient walk in with a concern or an issue that they’re unhappy with, and leave knowing they’re going to see results and we’re going to take care of them,” Laura says. “It’s very gratifying and rewarding.”
Laura’s daily role centers on providing a range of non-surgical treatments tailored to each patient’s needs. From injectables like Botox and fillers to advanced laser procedures and radiofrequency microneedling, Laura has the expertise to help patients enhance their natural beauty in subtle, effective ways. She also performs body contouring and other skincare-focused treatments that deliver visible, fresh results.

“Working with Dr. Bernacki is wonderful,” says Laura. “He’s incredibly patient and he loves to educate. As a nurse provider, being able to go to your doctor and have a positive conversation focused on patient care is really important. With him, the patients always come first.”

In her free time, Laura balances her dedication to her profession with personal passions. She enjoys staying active with activities such as cycling and hiking and can often be found volunteering with the Humane Society or spending quality time with her dog, Tazzy.
